In the early years the word of God spread not only throughout the Roman Empire, but by the Middle Ages it had spread throughout all of Armenia, Ethiopia, Iran, India, and China as well as other countries with amazing quickness. Persecution in the beginning was severe and more common than it is in a lot of countries today. As today early followers faced death simply for believing and sharing their love for God. We will look at some of the Symbols used in Christianity and see what significance they have. Research is an important step in understanding and having a comprehensive knowledge of any subject. It is the starting point that will give you a solid foundation in your relationship with God. It isn't important to know everything, but it is important to know the basics so that when someone asks you why you believe the way you do you can give them an easy to understand and fact based answer. We will provide you with an overflow of information that will help even the newest follower of Christ to be confident in their knowledge of Religion and the story behind it. I know it can be confusing trying to decipher all of the conflicting information and hopefully we will make it a little easier.
